We couldn’t be more proud today to honour and celebrate the 40% of our Canadian manufacturing members who are women owned companies. They are located all across Canada, selling their DOWNMARK® certified products locally plus doing business with consumers and retailers all around the world. They are an inspiration and we recognize their contributions in the Canadian manufacturing sector for down and feather filled products.
In addition, we know that 100% of our Canadian Active Manufacturing Members each have women principals within their companies who are thriving and contributing in creative, administrative, production and management roles or responsibilities.
During our 45th Anniversary year, the Down Association of Canada is also proud to celebrate our Head Office team and QA Manager’s leadership contributions alongside all the women within the world wide down and feather industry. Their achievements are admired and their increasing visibility make them leaders to generations of young women growing up and striving for equity in their own successes.
