Earth Day 2026 marks the 56th year of the Global movement to learn about our world, help it thrive, and keep it safe from future deterioration. The goals are something we are proud to be a part of for 50 years in our small way. Since we began in 1976, we strive to help educate the public about the wonderful, natural materials of down and feather versus man-made alternatives that are trying to replicate what our Earth has already provided.
50 years ago, our founding member companies incorporated as a not-for-profit organization to help consumers buy genuine products and learn about down & feather natural materials. Since then, we have been the trusted source for education, and the only independent group in Canada serving to educate consumers. We also work hard to support the development of the highest quality standards and sustainable practices with the trusted collaborations of like-minded associations.
